I love Brooklyn...
It seems that Manhattan is taken by Brooklyn.
To my greatest pleasure, below the article about Brooklyn from the last issue of ELLE DECOR magazine.

Easter, time to get inspired
Holidays for me are finally the time to sit down, relax and enjoy all the guilty pleasures of free time as well as to have a longer than usual moment to think what matters to me and what genuinely inspires me. Despite the beautiful sun and the park blooming in all colors of spring, it is still really chilly. Therefore, there is lots of time for reading, watching and just really appreciating the moment. In the middle of all those, I stumbled upon a California-born and designer who really caught my attention, her name is Heidi Merrick and she really knows how to flatter a woman with a dress. Her clothes reflect California sun, nostalgia of the surfing freedom and pure spirit of femininity. Just have a glimpse.
Much more about Heidi Merrick her inspirations, ideas, passions can be found on her website.
The other woman who inspired me some time ago but the memory of her was evoked again thanks to the last edition of the Lonny Magazine is one and only Florence Broadhurst, Australian born wall-paper designer and socialite who lived her life to the fullest. For those who want to find out how her design inspired last Kate Spade collection, I highly recommend the book. Her wallpapers are so about life, elements of inevitably changing seasons and beauty.
"Life by Design" by Siobhan O'Brienn.
In a very fast paced reality of a big city life, and New York I love you and curse you for that. It is important to remember that every great idea starts with great confusion, pain and frustration and looking at the example of the above mentioned women, it is just so much easier to believe that and keep being inspired and inspire. Happy Easter!

Creative? Yes, you are.
There is something magical about the first weekends of Spring. The first moments of warm breeze, spring shoes, light colorful scarves, flattering dresses, unbearable although maybe completely logically unexplainable lightness of being. There is so much charm about the crowded outsides of the cafes. All the dogs being out in the park.
Today I decided it was time to work more towards my coaching niche and I started reading Twyla Tharp's "The Creative Habit. Learn it and Use it for Your Life. I know this book has been around for almost ten years, however, now it is my time to discover it for myself and for my coaching.
I only started reading it but I can tell from the very beginning that there is something very New York about this book, very innovative, honest and spontaneous about the treatment of this particular subject matter. Creativity as a result of hard work and deep self-understanding rather than gift from God is a wonderful and heart-warming concept in a highly competitive reality.
I have only started reading this, so more in next few weeks. Today also has to be about taking full advantage of gorgeous weather, sun and the weekend.
And if anybody has time or even thinks they do not, please watch Delicacy. True French bon bon of nostalgic cinema...

If I ever have to escape, I would like it to be accompanied with this kind of music..Zoe playing in the background...Running away in style...Not being afraid, surrounded with beauty, in a fast car..Sometimes we all have to escape and come back to appreciate to what we have.

Colors in the winter
http://www.adoremagazine.com/
For all those who can't wait for Spring to come, I hope at least visualizing it in your home surroundings can bring some hope:) And it is coming soon, as it was announced yesterday on a Groundhog Day by one General Beauregard Lee, who lives at the Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn, and is Georgia's official groundhog.
